Background


Location Loyalty empowers frontline heroes by providing a visualization of Responses and Non Responses distributed on the map based on the user's location.





Widget Notes

  • This widget requires access to the user's location.
  • This widget requires Latitude and Longitude data for records to appear on the map.
  • Hovering over pins show Account Name, First Name, Last Name and NPS Score of the record.
    • There is also a “Plan Route” button for Frontline users
    • This button will launch the Navigation app of their choice, when clicked, for quick/easy directions
  • You are able to click on the pins to be redirected to the Survey Record page.
  • This widget has IS and IS NOT filter operators.
  • This is a paid widget, contact your Account or Implementation Manager for pricing.



Additional Settings



Distance Metric: Select the type of metric the distance will be based on.
Possible values: Kilometers, Meters and Miles.

Distance Range: Select the maximum distance from the user's location that records (pins) will be shown.
Possible values: 10, 50, 100, 1000.





Enabling and Adding the Widget

Enabling the Widget

 

1. Navigate to Settings → System Admin → System Settings → Reports → Visualization.


2. Under Responses, find Location Loyalty and enable it by clicking on the slider.



Adding the Widget


Add the widget to your report clicking on New Widget and navigating to Responses or searching for Location Loyalty.



Enabling Latitude and Longitude Fields


This widget requires Latitude and Longitude data, in order to add these fields to your import mapping they need to first be added in Field Settings. You can do so by following these steps:


1. Navigate to Settings → System Admin → System Settings → Field Settings.


2. Under Survey Records, click on +Add Field.


3. In the Field dropdown select Latitude and Longitude and their respective Label.


4. Save Field settings.




Importing Latitude and Longitude Format


First make sure to have both Latitude and Longitude fields to your import mapping. Once this is all set add both fields to your import file and populate them following this format:


Decimal values must have at least 4 digits and at maximum 8 digits: 00.0000 and 00.00000000

Value must be between -90.00000000 to 90.00000000




Browser Location Permission


Note: the user's location data used to load this widget is not stored.


In order for this widget to work it requires the current user's location. The browser will request permission to get the user location when accessing a report that contains this widget, if this is not the case, you can change location settings for each of these popular browsers following these steps:


Google Chrome


1. Open Chrome

2. At the top right, click on and then Settings.
3. Click on Privacy and securitySite Settings.

4. Click on Location.

5. Choose Sites can ask your location and then reload the page that contains the widget.



Safari

1. Click on the Apple symbol in the upper left corner.

2. Then click on System Preferences.

3. Find and click Security & Privacy.

4. Click on the Privacy tab.

5. Under Location Services find Safari and make sure it is enabled.



Firefox

1. Open Firefox.

2. At the top right, click on and then Settings.

3. Click on Privacy and security.

4. Find Permissions and click on Location settings.

5. Disable "Block new requests asking to access your location" and then reload the page that contains the widget.
